It's a late night game but Anthony Ireland* (Crosby) and Loyola Marymount are currently airing on ESPN 2. Ireland played all but 2 minutes in the first half and has done an excellent job at running the offense and the floor as well.
He missed a fast break layup early but has settled down and had an extremely explosive play where he made a quick crossover got to the rim made the bucket and got the foul, in other words he got an And-1. Max Good, head coach of LMU, loves Ireland because of how tough he plays and he really can get to the rim and play the point. His name is beinging mentioned a lot in this game.
It's fun to see kids you actually play against playing on national television. Ireland is very good I wish Calhoun would take some more of these kids around the area. LMU has a couple good players but are just playing extremely sloppy. Final stats on this game tomorrow.
