Why dont we get more Connecticut kids on the roster? We have one every 4 years and the last two you've taken were Craig Austrie and this O'Lander kid. Nothing against O'Lander, I know he can be good and has great size but you pick him over a kid like Jordan Williams? Calhoun I know your from Massachusetts but enough with the Mass kids already look right in your own backyard and I dont mean E.O Smith. I saw them play against Kennedy of Waterbury last year in the playoffs and OLander and company got beat by 20. He can get a kid from Waterbury Bridgeport or New Haven every year that can play for UConn. I dont get what his beef is with CT kids. You're going to tell me Saunders from Crosby can't play for UConn? HE put up 22 and 11 against Pitt earlier this year. You don't take Gomes but you take Jeff Adrien?!!!! Gomes is Providence's all time leading scorer. Stop going to Germany and Australia for your players. You really missed out on Jordan Williams he just bullied his way against Big East powerhouse #7 Villanova and threw those boys around. Oriahki and Williams at the 4 and 5 would be unstoppable but instead we have Charles Okwandu. Enough is enough Calhoun get rid of your bias. Your costing yourself tickets UConn people want to see in state kids. We have people that can play, you think nothing of CT but Gomes already showed you up in your face when he threw down ferocious dunk to upset UConn that year. Enough with the African big guys look to these cities I mentioned and perhaps in places like oh I dont know HARTFORD maybe. I am so fed up with this guy. Austrie was a solid player and guess who beat him in the state finals his senior year, yes Damian Saunders. He is excelling I just wish he would give these guys a chance. Just last year Rhode Island's team was turned around by 2 CT Kids Lamonte Ulmer of Hamden and Keith Cothran of New Haven. Get some balls Calhoun and put these kids on the big stage cause they can play. The only reason you took O'Lander is cause he is on your doorstep at UConn. I think you need to wake up and get better scouts for your own state. You embarass these kids just as much as they embarass you. If Olander can start for you Gomes could have, Saunders, Williams, and Monteiro. I didn't even mention Joe Trapani who is having a tremendous year at Boston College. I hope you read this Calhoun and dont give me that I dont have enough scholarships, yea you do your just giving them to Massachusetts kids.
