Kemba overshadowed by Jimmer again
Kemba Walker was by far the best player in college basketball this year but the importance of points per game is more important than an overall basketball player. Jimmer remained very well spoken and humble as he accepted his Espy for best college male athlete. After seeding the nominees I knew SCam Newton would be a long shot after his devastating scandal that tarnished his legacy. As a strong UConn fan I knew for a fact this year we had the best player in the country. Our own sports analyst, Kevin Nathan, was pleading on twitter that UConn fans are bitter and that after the NCAA run it doesn't matter we as fans should stop complaining Is he not a UConn fan? We like to see our team excel we don't have a pro basketball team. But wait we have an Aba team starting in November well that should be fun

#5 UConn 76 Marquette 68 - UConn and G Kemba Walker, perhaps the country's best player have been playing awesome as of late. UConn's freshman Tyler O'Lander(E.O Smith) has been in the starting rotation but only getting a few minutes each start. Hopefully these freshman stay for a few years because in a couple years this team can be really really good. He played only 3 minutes, accumulating no statistics.

Patriots 1 and done, again
The Patriots are losers of their first playoff game again. Rex Ryan has a bigger mouth than he does stomach, but guess what his Jets got it done. With all the celebrations on the field you would think they were going to the Super Bowl, better yet, won the Super Bowl. It was ashame the Patriots didn't win because I would have liked to seen Aaron Hernandez (Bristol Central) in the Super Bowl himself. For the youngest kid in the NFL, he had an extremely great season and Tom Brady absolutely loves the kid. Him and Gronkowski alone may have given Brady 3 more seasons to his already Hall of Fame career. In the game against New York Hernandez caught one pass for 4 yards. For the year he finished with 46 recepetions 567 yards and 6 touchdowns, while missing the last two games. Best of luck to him in his future.
