Mike Moore leads Hofstra to 5-0 start in CAA play

Mike Moore* (Hillhouse) earned the top performer in his game against Towson last night where he took over the ball game. Moore's stat line recorded 21 points, 8 rebounds, 3steals, and 3 assists in the Pride's 74-60 win. Moore, the 6-5 200 lb. Junior from New Haven has been a factor for the Pride all year. Hofstra is out to an 11-5 start and 5-0 in the conference. The Connecticut native starts for Hofstra and played 36 minutes in the win. Hofstra looks to keep rolling in conference play and a bid to the NCAA tournament. Hofstra's next game is Saturday January 15th, 2011 as the play host to Old Dominion.

Duquesne 67 Saint Louis 45 - The Crosby duo led the Dukes to victory once again and 2-0 in A-10 play. Damian Saunders* played 34 minutes and scored 11 points, 10 rebounds, 4 blocks, and 3 steals. He is the reigning defensive player of the year and continues to show why. B.J Monteiro* struggled in last nights game only recording 1 point, 2 rebounds, 3 assists, 1 steal, and 1 block as he played 28 minutes.

Binghamton 83 UMBC 75 - Adrian Satchell (Windsor)* played 25 minutes before fouling out and scored only 4 points and 2 rebounds. Travis King(New Haven)* played only 6 minutes and recorded no stats.

George Washington 72 Fordham 52 - Dan Guest (West Hartford) played 15 minutes scored 7 points, 2 rebounds, and 1 assist

Xavier 79 UMass 50Matt Hill (Middletown) played 9 minutes recored 0 points and 2 rebounds

Seton Hall 78 DePaul 67 - Devin Hill (Stamford) did not play

Maryland 74 Wake Forest 55 - Jordan Williams* (Torrington) had a rough night from the field going 2-13 but still managed to get 13 points, 15 rebounds, 1 steal, and 2 blocks

Holy Cross 68 Army 54 - R.J Evan (NFA) did not play
